Nebraska State Pedal Pull Championship
The Nebraska State Championship is held each year at the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island.
The Nebraska State Pedal Pull Championship is the largest state pedal pull championship in the nation. Typical participation is 700-800 competitors. (791 in 2025, 784 in 2026)
Competitors must have qualified at a local sanctioned pull between the date of the previous state fair and the the current year’s state fair.
Competitors must present a valid qualification voucher received at a qualifying local pull. Proof of age may be requested.
Competitors will receive free admission into the fair with their qualification voucher. All others will pay regular gate fees. (DO NOT give your qualification voucher to the gate person.)
The 2026 Nebraska State Championship date is Sunday, September 6, 2026.
Registration opens at 8:00 AM.
Competition starts at 10:00 AM.
There are nine tracks. One for each age. All ages register and compete at the same time. When entering the arena follow posted signs to the track for your age. Competitors will be assigned a participant number and will pull in the order that they register. Please be sure to be in line and ready to pull when your number is called.
